Halloween at MSS
Halloween will continue to be a day of learning at Marshall Springs. Students are welcome to wear their costumes for the full day or even part of the day if they choose. We encourage students to wear their costume over their regular clothes or bring a change of clothes in the event that they become uncomfortable or find that it interferes with their activities like gym or outdoor play. The guidelines for costumes are:
- Must be school appropriate.
- No weapons in any way, shape, or form.
- No masks - faces must be visible.
- No blood or gore.

Locks and Lockers - Securing personal Items
We have had numerous issues with locks and lockers recently. Students have been reminded of the following important points:
- Don’t share your locker combination with anyone. Keep this information private.
- If you have shared your locker combination, please see your HR teacher to receive a different lock.
- Ensure your locker is closed and your lock is locked.
- Don’t leave your lock open and/or your valuables unsecured.
- If you see an open locker that is not yours, do not touch.
The school is not responsible for personal items that go missing that have not been properly secured. Students are constantly reminded not to leave their personal items unattended or unsecured.
