Complementary Course Requests | 2024-25

It is time to make your Complimentary Course Requests for the 2024/25 school year. All current grade 6-8 students must complete their selections, have a parent/guardian sign their forms, and then return their forms to homeroom teachers by Friday, May 10. Paper copies of selection forms will be shared by homeroom teachers. Please explore the course options and descriptions, so you are prepared to make your requests.

Change Request Form

Students who want to change or add an option will now complete the following Option Change Request Form. Deadlines to change options are about 1 week before the start of each Quarter. Any option change requests will also require parent/guardian approval. Parent/guardians can grant their approval by emailing Mr. Bhardwaj (hibhardwaj@cbe.ab.ca) or calling the school office.

For the 2023/2024 school year, Grade 7, 8 and 9 students will receive daily instruction in Language Arts, Social Studies, Math, Science and Physical Education/Health. In addition, the students will have the opportunity to participate in FOUR electives.

We will attempt to assign courses based on student choices, although final decisions will depend on various factors such as class sizes, staff, and/or available facilities. We will make every effort to accommodate student choices.
