One way parents/guardians can make a meaningful difference for students is by participating on our school’s parent society. Parent societies are a formal group of parents, incorporated under the Societies Act for the purpose of raising funds for the school. A society is a separate legal entity from the school council. About Our Parent Society
Our parent society is known as the Marshall Springs Enrichment Council (MSEC). This group supports the school through control and distribution of casino (AGLC) funds. This group has a casino license and receives a casino fundraiser (2 nights) every 18 months. Each casino event brings in between 70-80k to support students and staff and MSS.
These funds have supported performing arts equipment, HPE equipment, field trip opportunities, technology (Chromebooks, Ipads, cameras etc.), musical instruments and small appliances for our CTF programs.
