A four (4) day week ahead as Friday, October 20 is a Non-Instructional Day for students. A reminder that the school opens at 8:20am daily for student entry.  As we move further into fall and the beginning of winter, please ensure that your child(ren) are dressed for the weather.

Lockdown Drill #1

Our first of two lockdown practice drills will occur this Thursday.  Teachers and staff reviewed lockdown procedures with students last Friday in preparation for this drill.  During a lockdown drill, students are expected turn off their personal devices, sit quietly on the safe wall, and keep their hands and feet to themselves.

Once the drill has concluded, classes will resume as per usual.

Athletics

Soccer will be wrapping up soon.  Both boys and girls teams are playing this week.  Basketball games continue with Marshall Springs hosting games starting Monday, October 23.

Year Book Cover Art Contest

Submit your full-colour art to Mrs. Hartling by Friday, November 3.  Submissions must be flat and on 8.5 x 11" paper.  Please include:

• School name (Marshall Springs)
• The year (2023-2024)
• Our mascot, if you wish (River Wolves)

Crochet Club – Request for Donations

Ms. Boulton has stated a crochet club that has seen a significant amount of student interest.  We are currently asking for any donations to support this student club.  Please email Ms. Boulton and/or the school directly.

November Break 2023

A reminder that the last day of regular classes for students before the November Break is Wednesday, November 8.  Thursday, November 9 is a Non-Instructional Day (No School for students).  Regular classes for all MSS students resume on Wednesday, November 15.
