We made it through record setting cold last week and this weekend.  Hopefully you were able to stay warm and safe.  A four (4) day week of learning ahead as Monday, January 15 is a Non-Instructional Day – there is no school for students.  Regular classes resume on Tuesday, January 16.

MyCBE / PowerSchool Account – Report Cards

As in previous years, paper copies of report cards are no longer printed.  Semester 1 report cards will be available for viewing in your MyCBE / PowerSchool Account on Tuesday, January 30, 2024.

A MyCBE / Powerschool account provides parents/guardians and students seamless access to information and transactions using a modern and effective technology platform. Parents/guardians have online access to:

• view their children’s academic information (schedule, grades and attendance).
• register for transportation and noon supervision.
• pay fees and request fee waivers.
• book school conferences.

Cold Weather Reminders

It appears that temperatures will be returning to somewhat seasonal norms once classes resume on Tuesday.  We will be returning to our regular school entrance opening time of 820am.  If temperatures plunge again, we will notify parents/guardians of early entrance to the school.

Regardless of the temperatures, please ensure that your child(ren) are dressed for the weather and, if taking school/public transportation, that your child(ren) have a plan in place if there is a service disruption (busses are late or do not show up).

Complementary/Option Course Change Requests – Term 3 & 4

All complementary (option) class change requests will now be submitted online using a Google Form and will require parent/guardian approval. Athletics Update

Volleyball try-outs will resume after cancellations due to the cold weather last week.  Wrestling practices will also resume this week along with the Quad Meet at Lakeshore school on Thursday.
