Hello Marshall Springs School Community

The weather is starting to feel like Spring! We hope you had a chance to enjoy the sunshine this weekend.

Calling Volunteers

We have a couple of events coming up where we could use some volunteer support. Take a look below and let the office know if you are interested in helping:

  • C4: Connecting Community and Celebrating Culture

On Thursday, May 23 the grade 5 students from our feeder schools will visit us for the day and they will join our current grade 8 students for a day of building relationships and expressing creativity. We will host several cultural and art based workshops throughout the day, including drumming, dancing, story-telling, various visual and performing arts, and more. We are excited for this day and could use volunteer help to help things run smoothly. Anyone with volunteer clearance is welcome to help.

  • Calaway Park - (Grade 8)

The Grade 8s are going to Calaway Park on Friday, May 24 from 9am-2:15pm. We are looking for parent volunteers to join us who have their parent volunteer clearance done. If you are interested in joining us, please send your student to see Mrs. Burden (room 188) to get a Calaway volunteer form. The form will need to be filled out and returned. Thank you!
