We hope you enjoyed the break spending time with friends and family whether you stayed and/or travelled. We are excited to welcome students and staff back to the building. Regular classes for all MSS students resume on Monday, March 31. The main office will open at 8:00am on March 31.

Labour Relations Update
On March 20, 2025, the Board of Trustees ratified a new collective agreement with the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE) Local 40, following ratification by CUPE members. CUPE members, who play an important role in supporting school communities, were welcomed back to work on Friday, March 21. While schools were closed for spring break, CUPE employees had a chance to catch up on cleaning and regular school maintenance activities.
We are very excited to have facility operator Mr. Reynaldo and his crew back!
Athletics Update
With CUPE returning to work, badminton season will go ahead and will start on Tuesday, April 1. Try-out and practice schedules can be found on the Badminton webpage. Coaches for the year are as follows:
- Junior Team (Grade 6&7): Ms. Ratnayake & Ms. Sattin.
- Intermediate (Grade 8): Mr. Fontaine.
- Senior Team (Grade 9): Ms. Hartling.
Coffee and Conversation with School Administration
Please join school administration on Friday, April 11 @ 10:00am in the staff room to discuss all things Marshall Springs. Topics of conversation will focus on budget and school planning for the 2025-2026 school year. Coffee and light snacks will be provided.
School Council / Enrichment Society Meeting
Thank you to the three (3) parents who attended our meeting on March 10. Our next council meeting will be Monday, April 28, 2025 @ 6:00pm via Microsoft Teams. At this meeting, we will be discussing budget, staffing, and class composition for the 2025-2026 school year.
