And just like that, we are headed into the final week of the 2024-2025 school year! We have a four (4) day week ahead with June 26 being the last day of school for students as June 27 is a non-instructional day. If your child will be absent for any day(s) this week, please call the school at 403-817-3528 or email marshallsprings@cbe.ab.ca to report the absence.
Report cards will be available in your MyCBE account on Wednesday, June 25.
This will be the final weekly update of the 2024-2025 school year. On behalf of staff, I'd like to thank you for your continued support of all things MSS and wish you a safe and happy summer!
The main office will re-open on Wednesday, August 27, 2025 @ 9:00am.
School opening information for 2025-2026 will be updated on the "Back to School" tab and also emailed to all MSS parents/guardians in August 2025.

Staffing Update
We would like to acknowledge and convey our appreciation and gratitude to the following staff members:

- Mr. Fontaine has accepted a teaching position with Calgary Catholic.
- Mr. Fontaine is a founding member of MSS and will be missed a great deal.

- Ms. Ratnayake has accepted a teaching position at Ian Bazalgette.
- We wish her the best as she moves on to support students, staff, and community at her new school.
- Ms. Brooklyn Udell
- Ms. Udell has accepted a teaching position at Christine Meikle.

- Ms. Mabel Zheng
- Ms. Zheng has accepted a teaching position at Marshall Springs.
- Ms. Zheng has been a temp at MSS this year. We are excited to have her join our staff full time.

- Friday, June 20 - Formal Friday.
- Monday, June 23 - Students dress like teachers / teachers dress like students.
- Tuesday, June 24 - Time Warp Tuesday (Pick your decade - rock the look).
- Wednesday, June 25 - White Lies (school appropriate) / Punny Times.
- Thursday, June 26 - Stampede Style.
Yellow School Bus Sign-Up 2025-2026
Families have until June 22 to register for yellow bus transportation for the 2025-26 school year. Transportation registration is available through your MyCBE account.
Transportation Registration Deadline is Fast Approaching.
Unpaid Fees: 2024-2025 School Year
We currently have numerous unpaid fees (field trips, events, athletics etc.) totaling thousands of dollars for the 2024-2025 school year. Outstanding fees carry over from year to year even if you transfer schools within the CBE. It is difficult for the school to plan future events knowing that we will be running a deficit. Please log into your MyCBE account to clear any outstanding fees. Your support is greatly appreciated.
Report Cards: June 25, 2025
Semester 2 / Year 1 report cards will be available through your MyCBE account on Wednesday, June 25. Report cards can be viewed, downloaded (PDF), or printed at home. We no longer print paper copies of report cards.

Final Week of School - June 2025
The final week of school for students is June 23-26. June 26 is a Thursday, but we are running Friday Bell Times. School busses will run at regular times.
- June 23: 830am-320pm.
- June 24: 830am-320pm.
- June 25: 830am-320pm.
- Report Cards available in MyCBE account.
- Locker Clean Out: Grade 9 (AM), Grade 6,7,8 (PM).
- Locks remain on lockers for Thursday use.
- June 26: 830am-1140am.
- Year book distribution.
- Last day of classes for all MSS students.
- No cafeteria service on this day.
- June 27: Non-Instructional Day
- School is closed for summer break at 1200pm.
- Anything not picked-up / taken home will be available August 29, 2025.
