School Bus Zone on Everridge Drive

We want to remind families to please not park in the bus zone in front of the school. Parking here can create additional traffic and unsafe situations for our students, as well as for bus drivers. Please follow the posted street/traffic signs.

MyCBE / PowerSchool Account – Report Cards

As in previous years, paper copies of report cards are no longer printed.  Semester 1 report cards will be available for viewing in your MyCBE / PowerSchool Account on Tuesday, January 30, 2024.

A MyCBE / Powerschool account provides parents/guardians and students seamless access to information and transactions using a modern and effective technology platform. Parents/guardians have online access to:

  • view their children’s academic information (schedule, grades and attendance).
  • register for transportation and noon supervision.
  • pay fees and request fee waivers.
  • book school conferences.

Food Delivery Services (SKIP, Door-Dash) to the School

We do not accept food deliveries from delivery services during instructional time.  Students who want to order food to the school can do so during the lunch period only.  The school will not be accepting deliveries from food services – these drivers will be turned away.  Students are not to leave class during instructional time to leave the building to accept food deliveries.

Students who have ordered food to the school during the lunch break are to meet delivery drivers outside of the main doors.  Again, the school is not responsible for accepting and distributing these deliveries.

Gr. 10 High School Transition Planning

We are preparing for our Gr. 9s to begin the registration process for Gr. 10.  Our students are designated to high schools based on the residential address that we have on file.  Our two main high schools that we feed into are Dr. EP Scarlett and Centennial.

Athletics Update

Congratulations to our wrestlers who competed very well at the Lakeshore Quad meet on Thursday.  Practices continue next week.

Also, congratulations to all students who were selected to participate on our junior/senior volleyball teams.  Team practices and games begin next week.

Our student spectator policy for volleyball will be similar to basketball:

  • MSS students who are staying to support our teams are expected to be seated in the main gym and supporting all players in a positive manner.
  • Any MSS student who is not supporting in a positive manner and/or disrupting game play will be removed from the gym and will also have their viewing privileges removed for the remainder of the volleyball season.
