Also, semester #1 report cards go live (online) in your MyCBE account on Monday, January 27. Information on how to create and access your MyCBE account is contained in the weekly update below.

Athletics Update
Volleyball try-outs are now complete and teams have been selected. Thank you to all students who tried out for volleyball teams. Please remember, if you were not successful in making a team, there are opportunities to work on skills and play games in our developmental volleyball program.

***MSS Athletics Spectator Policy***
Volleyball games at MSS and other schools will begin shortly. All players, students, parents/guardians, are expected to follow our spectator policy. Failure to meet expectations will result in games being stopped and students, parents/guardians being removed from the school and loss of future viewing privileges.

Semester 1 Report Cards
S1 report cards will be available online through your MyCBE account. Paper copies of report cards are no longer printed and distributed to students.

Gr. 7 Late French Immersion program at Ecole Woodman School
Ecole Woodman School will be presenting to current Gr. 6 students regarding the Late French Immersion Program in late January (dates TBD). Please see the attached flyer for the late immersion open house on Thursday, February 6, 2025 at Ecole Woodman.

Gr. 10 High School Registration - Planning
We are in the process of high school transitions and want to inform you of important dates and information.
Students are designated to specific high schools based on their current residential address. If your child is interested in attending a school different than the one they are designated to, the high school guidance counsellors will discuss the process during course selection visits. If you have any further questions, please connect with the high school staff at their Open Houses.
Grade 9 High School Tours:
- January, 23 (AM): Centennial ~9:00am-11:45am.
- Only students designated to CHS by residential address will attend this field trip.
- Consent forms must be signed and returned in advance.

CEBL/CBE Calgary Surge Basketball Game
Marshall Springs will be attending the Calgary Surge (professional basketball) CBE Be Well School Game Day on Wednesday, May 7, 2025. We will be departing the school at 9:30am and returning at 2:30pm. We have received a total of 40 student tickets for this game. Cost will be approximately $40...this covers transportation and a ticket to the basketball game. If we receive more than 40 student applications, a random draw will take place. Students from grades 6, 7, 8 and 9 can apply to go to the basketball game.
