Staffing Update
Please join me in welcoming Ms. Brooklyn Udell to the Marshall Springs staff. Ms. Udell will be taking over Ms. Schroeder's CSSI class as she is away on maternity leave. We wish Ms. Schroeder all the best with the arrival of her new baby.
Athletics Update
Volleyball try-outs & practices continue this week with divisional games starting next week. Thank you to all students who tried out for volleyball teams. Please remember, if you were not successful in making a team, there are opportunities to work on skills and play games in our developmental volleyball program.

S1 report cards will be available online through your MyCBE account. Paper copies of report cards are no longer printed and distributed to students.

Gr. 7 Late French Immersion program at Ecole Woodman School
Ecole Woodman School will be presenting to current Gr. 6 students regarding the Late French Immersion Program in late January (dates TBD). Please see the attached flyer for the late immersion open house on Thursday, February 6, 2025 at Ecole Woodman.

Gr. 10 High School Registration - Planning
We are in the process of high school transitions and want to inform you of important dates and information.
Students are designated to specific high schools based on their current residential address. If your child is interested in attending a school different than the one they are designated to, the high school guidance counsellors will discuss the process during course selection visits. If you have any further questions please connect with the high school staff at their Open Houses.

Coffee and Conversation with School Administration
Our next coffee and conversation session with school administration will take place on Friday, January 17 @ 10:00am in the MSS staff room. Coffee and light snacks are provided - all parents/guardians of current MSS students are welcome to attend. The main area of conversation will focus on high school transitions and PowerSchool 101: Support for Parents/Guardians.
