Two weeks to go before Spring Break. A full five (5) day week of learning ahead. The weather looks great this week with highs of 6-10C everyday. When the weather is agreeable, Phys. Ed. and Outdoor Ed. will be using outdoor learning spaces – students need to be prepared for the weather and outdoor activities.

- Non-Instructional Day: NO SCHOOL for Students.

The annual planning survey is currently open and will take approximately 15 minutes to complete.

Student Progress Conferences (SPCs): March 21-22, 2024
Our next round of SPCs will be held on March 21-22:
- Thursday, March 21:
- Full day of school for students – regular Thursday schedule.
- Last day of classes before Spring Break.
- SPCs: 4:00-8:00pm
- In-Person: Main Gym.
- Friday, March 22:
- Non-Instructional Day: NO School for Students.
- SPCs: 8:30am-3:00pm
- Virtual conferences through Microsoft Teams.
- There are no in-person conferences on this day.
As with the first round of SPCs this year, we will be using an online booking system. The online system will be open for booking on Wednesday, March 13, 2024 @ 8:00am. In order to book student progress conferences, you will need a MyCBE account.

Ramadan 2024
Ramadan is an important tradition celebrated by many families in our school community. This year, Ramadan is Sunday, March 10 – Tuesday, April 9. We are looking for students who participate in Ramadan and are interested in making videos to be shown during Marshall Time to support understanding of the Holy festival. Students can express their interest to school admin on Monday.
Youth Theatre Calgary – Open Auditions at MSS
Youth Theatre Calgary is holding auditions for their play Beauty and the Beast, which will perform in Calgary. Auditions are open to any students and will take place at Marshall Springs after school on Thursday. The waiver is attached and contains more information about the production and auditions. Waivers must be returned to the school office by Wednesday, March 13. You can also pick up a hard copy of the waiver in the office.

Athletics Update
Volleyball wraps up this week with all four teams in playoffs.
The badminton season begins April 2 while the Track & Field season begins May 13.
